No matter how hard you try keeping your home clean, at some point someone will show up at a time when your apartment does not look its best. 1. Declutter
Do a walkthrough of the main rooms where guests will be, pick up clutter as you go. Don’t worry about putting things in their proper places. Just pickup items such as mail and shoes. Then temporarily store in a box or in a spare closest so they are out of sight.
